Timeline

The Challenge

Jay’s existing pond was too small and had dark brown water, creating a poor environment for his koi fish. He needed a much larger, cleaner pond built into the steep hill in his backyard, which required precision and expertise. Our team had to Integrate the new pond into the existing hardscape while ensuring long-term functionality and protection for the koi fish.

The Solution

Our team delivered an impressive 20 x 12-foot, 4-foot-deep pond built into the hillside. Key infrastructure like skimmers and Biofalls ensured crystal-clear water, while the fish tunnel provided a safe haven for the koi fish. The standout feature was a breathtaking mystery waterfall that added depth and intrigue to the pond, creating a hotel-worthy experience in Jay’s backyard. The pond was featured in PondTrade Magazine.

What The Homeowner Said

“I just had Premier Ponds do a fantastic job on my pond up here in Phoenix, Maryland. I brought Mike out here and didn’t think he could actually accomplish this amazing feat when he said he could. I was amazed, and now, I mean, look at it—it looks like it should be at a hotel or something! This is pretty amazing.

I said to put a pond on steroids, and he far exceeded my expectations. The crew was great, hardworking, and a bunch of wonderful guys. I can’t thank them enough and would recommend them to everybody.”
